    Description

Rare 1930s Egyptian Revival winged Isis goddess raw unplated brass stampings. Left and right facing pair, 2 pieces, 62x60mm (appr. 2.5 x 2 1/3"). These have an almost perfect match to the patina on each piece.
True vintage, not recently made from old molds.
Beautifully detailed and naturally aged over time to a ginger or rose patina. These have been in storage over the decades. These can be polished but we advise not damaging or altering the patina as it is an important part of the age/historical value of these pieces. Backs are an inverse image of the fronts.
With the loop at the top edge of the wings, these would make incredible statement necklaces, or a large brooch, add a brilliant dangle to the bottom with a jump ring where the feet meet the wings.
Can alternately be used in home decor projects such framed for fabulous art pieces, as furniture trim or decorative embellishment on the lid of a jewelry or curio box.
These brass ornaments are old stock and most likely made in France. They are most unusual and very difficult to find. Very limited supply.
As an alloy of copper and zinc, these older, higher quality raw unplated brass pieces have aged to beautiful patinas over time and with exposure, unlike brass pieces created more recently through today. Those pieces that had a higher percentage of copper content will naturally age to this beautiful ginger copper color patina.
Seal to retain its current patina. Unsealed it will continue to age, and possibly darken with exposure.
You'll receive the pair of large, rare brass goddess Isis stampings shown in the photos.
